Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information SEASPIR collects, how we use it, how payments are handled, and the choices available to buyers, sellers, and visitors of seaspir.com.

Effective date: 2 August 2026 · Operated by Seaspir.com

1. Who We Are

SEASPIR operates the multi-vendor marketplace and related services available at seaspir.com. When this Policy refers to "SEASPIR," "we," "us," or "our," it means the operator of the SEASPIR platform. This Policy applies to personal data and business-related information processed when you create an account, browse or purchase from storefronts, become a seller, complete KYC, contact support, or otherwise interact with our services.

2. Data Collection

Depending on how you use SEASPIR, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity & contact details: name, email address, phone number, and account credentials.
  • Shipping & order details: delivery address, order history, cart activity, communication related to fulfillment, and delivery status updates.
  • Seller business & KYC details: store name, subdomain/slug, business or warehouse address, CNIC or equivalent identity documents, selfie verification imagery, bank title, IBAN, and related compliance records required to verify sellers and enable payouts.
  • Technical & usage data: device/browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from network data, pages viewed, referral URLs, and diagnostic logs needed for security and performance.
  • Support records: messages, dispute tickets, uploaded proof (such as photos or videos), and related correspondence.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the platform, and from service providers that help us authenticate users, process payments, send transactional messages, or host infrastructure.

3. Usage of Information

SEASPIR uses collected information for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfillment: enabling checkout, sharing necessary delivery details with the relevant seller, tracking order status, and facilitating returns or dispute handling.
  • Account verification: confirming identity for buyers and sellers, completing KYC review, and reducing impersonation or account takeover risk.
  • Platform security: detecting fraud, abuse, policy violations, suspicious login patterns, and protecting escrow and wallet integrity.
  • Automated AI features: powering optional seller-facing AI tools (such as product listing assistance, marketing copy drafts, accounting summaries, and natural-language store commands) using relevant store, catalog, and order context you authorize the feature to access.
  • Operations & improvement: customer support, service communications, analytics for reliability, product development, and enforcing our Terms and marketplace policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with sellers to fulfill your order, with payment partners to process transactions, with infrastructure providers under confidentiality obligations, and with authorities when legally required.

4. Payment Data Security

SEASPIR does not store raw payment details such as full credit or debit card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, or banking PINs on SEASPIR servers. Online payment transactions are securely processed by certified third-party payment partners, including PayFast. Those partners handle sensitive payment credentials under their own security and compliance programs.

SEASPIR may retain non-sensitive payment metadata necessary for accounting, reconciliation, dispute handling, and fraud prevention — for example transaction references, payment status, amounts, timestamps, and gateway payment identifiers. Seller payout details such as IBAN and bank title collected during KYC are used for verification and payout operations and are protected under our access controls.

5. Cookies & Analytics

SEASPIR uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the platform. This includes session cookies used for account management, authentication state, and security controls that help keep signed-in sessions trustworthy. We may also use limited analytics cookies or equivalent measurement tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns, diagnose errors, and improve product performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential authentication or session cookies may prevent you from signing in, completing checkout, or accessing seller dashboards. Where required by law, we will present additional consent choices for non-essential cookies.

6. Data Protection

We apply industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process. These measures include encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access-controlled databases, least-privilege internal access, and organizational processes designed to prevent unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Seller KYC imagery and identity documents are treated as sensitive compliance records and are accessible only to authorized personnel and systems needed for verification, fraud prevention, and regulatory obligations. Despite reasonable safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely risk-free; users should also protect their own devices and passwords.

7. Retention

We retain personal and business data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention practices, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Your Choices & Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal data we hold about you. You may also update many account fields directly in your profile or seller dashboard. Some records (for example completed transaction logs or KYC materials retained for compliance) may need to be kept even after an account closure request.

To submit a privacy request, email privacy@seaspir.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published. Continued use of SEASPIR after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
